Submission process

Submission platform

The manuscript, written on the corresponding template, and the anonimized manuscript, must be submitted through the journal's platform, available at: https://transformacion.reduc.edu.cu/

Required documents

Along with the main file (manuscript in Word), and the anonimized file, the following must be uploaded:

  • Letter of originality and publication license (Download).

Preparation for double-blind review

To ensure a double-blind review, you must submit two separate files during the submission process on the OJS platform:

  1. Full manuscript (version with author details): This file must contain all information that identifies the authors: full names, institutional affiliations, ORCID, corresponding email, acknowledgments, and any other references that could reveal authorship (such as citations to the author's previous work using "in our previous study"). This version is for the editor and editorial team.
  2. Anonymized manuscript (version for reviewers): This file must not contain any identifying information about the authors. You should remove or modify:
    • Names and affiliations from the title page.
    • Acknowledgments and funding sources (you can replace them with "[information removed for blind review]").
    • Self-citations that reveal identity (use "Author" instead of your name, or write in third person).
    • Names of specific institutions or locations (generalize, e.g., "a public university in the Caribbean").
    • Comments, footnotes, and headers that may contain personal information.
    • Document metadata (in Word, go to File → Info → Inspect Document and remove personal properties; in PDF, do the same in Document Properties).

It is the author's responsibility to ensure that the anonymized file is correctly prepared. The editor will verify that the manuscript is anonymized before sending it to reviewers. If the file does not meet the requirements, the editor may return it for corrections.

On the submission platform, you will find separate fields to upload the full manuscript and the anonymized one. Be sure to name the files neutrally (e.g., "Manuscript.docx" and "Anonymized_Manuscript.docx").

Curricular summary

A brief paragraph (maximum 5 lines) must be included indicating the training and research experience of each author on the topic. It is suggested to include undergraduate and postgraduate degrees; as well as teaching and/or scientific category if applicable.
