Abstract

Objective:

The study aimed to propose a pedagogical support model for primary school counselors, aimed at training in educational guidance.

Methods:

The structural-functional method was used to develop the support model, and critical reflection and collective construction workshops were held to assess its feasibility and relevance based on the systematization of the authors' previous scientific results.

Result:

A pedagogical support model for counselors is provided, aimed at providing educational guidance at the primary level.

Conclusion:

The proposed model contributes to the argumentation of the educational nature that governs pedagogical support, allows for redefining the role of school counselors, and determines the dynamics that underlie educational guidance at the primary level. The described model has a methodological and regulatory nature for pedagogical support for educational guidance.Keywords: pedagogical support; educational guidance; strategy
