What to focus to achieve excellence in our universities?

Abstract

Good morning, as you can see in the picture, I propose to start with a few words of our José Martí: "It is good that in the field of science scientific precepts are discussed. But when the precept is going to be applied..., it is necessary that not the absolute precept be raised for discussion, but each of the practical conflicts, the solution of which is sought in good faith" (Martí, 2001a, p. 335) This fragment poses a question, from my way of understanding José Martí is calling attention to the importance of the method,  Because the method is what teaches us to learn in the search for that new knowledge, that is, truths are not absolute and when they are going to be applied we have to be aware of the conflicts that originate from taking theory to practice and at the same time we are moving from the analysis of my practice to a theoretical conception.
