The use of u-learning devices to study the Literature of English Expression

Objective: This paper aims at assessing an Android application designed for University of Havana English Language students to study U. S. A. Literature, supported on u-learning tools and concepts.
Methods: The authors rely on a qualitative and quantitative methodology to construct a theoretical framework and Android Studio (2.3) to design the application.
Results: The main finding is a highly appreciated application that summarizes textual and graphic information, study guides, reading suggestions and exercises satisfying U. S. A. Literature syllabus objectives.
Conclusion: The application has been considered by teachers and students a useful tool to support the study pf literatures. It promotes further reading, a sound interpretation of literary pieces and its criticism and distance education.
