Information processing procedures for comprehending textual clusters
Keywords:
Didactics, reading instruction, reading development, comprehensionAbstract
Objective: The article aims at devising methods of analysis for processing the information of textual sets, from considering interactions and exchanges between selected texts, according to a
reading objective. In addition, some procedures that allow to connect and synthesize the informational essences of the set are provided.
Methods: The semantic iterations of the selected texts were used to reach conclusions based on analysis and synthesis, as well as induction and deduction. Historical and logical relations were established between the author and the historical circumstances that led to the production of the chosen texts (contextual relation) and the appreciated links between them (intertextual relations). Through the systemic approach, the selected texts were interlinked through contextual, intratextual and intertextual relations and the results were generalized from the semantic, historical, biographical and cultural points of view.
Results: The main finding is the understanding of the links between conceptual units systematized within the limits of each text and their systematizations outside those limits, that is, their openness and presence in other texts by the same author.
Conclusion: The process of teaching and learning text comprehension should provide the student with the necessary reading tools to manage information and know how to synthesize and generalize the essences of the content of the variety of text with which they interact, as part of their cultural enrichment.
