Graphic design: A didactic tool for the teaching of the architecture

Abstract

The carried out work has as purpose to expose the main conceptions on which the elaboration of a text was sustained that offers the student an useful instrument to elaborate in an appropriate way the necessary information related with the executive projects, without making lacks neither omissions that become in unnecessary executive, stopped errors in the preparation process and construction of the work to the long one, for which the costs are increased. Such theoretical and empiric methods were used as the interview to the educational ones that imparted the subject for develar the causes that originated the problems in the teaching process - learning, as well as to the employers for triangular the deficiencies of the teaching-learning process as for the formation of the professionals and the limitations of these to face the graphic representation in the phase of the executive project. The contribution resides in a text proposal that gathers in an integrated way a selection of the main norms, concepts of the architectural drawing and documents that are used in the specialty of Architecture from the first years of the career to elaborate executive projects. As a result a document is obtained that is considered a didactic tool for the teaching, since it serves like guide to the students of Architecture and Civil Engineering and to the professionals, to elaborate executive projects of different types of works, of new construction, of rehabilitation, in remodelings, reconstructions and adaptations of existent constructions, dedicated to satisfy social necessities.
